[Delia Marlow]

It was a fairly cold day.. Delia was chilling outside of the doors to Powell, (early as usuall) When she noticed a white dog passing by. She decided to follow it.. She dropped her books and ran after it. She caught up to it and noticed it had no collar, strange she thought, all dogs in this area have good, adoring owners. It must not be from this area she thought, when a dark force pulled Delia from her train of thought... she was bitten by this white dog.
Warm red liquid poured from her forarm.. it was deep, very horrible. She fell to her knees... then to her side.. black out. She was unconcious. Blacked out. Who was to help her now?

Brett was up early today; what was it around 5 am? This was a perfect time to start her art work; she wanted to set up a big canvas outside, and paint the scenery at it's best. Autumn wind blew through her hair; Brett looked up, and noticed the sun was completely hidden; it was grey out, and cold. She didn't mind she liked it. Brett was wearing a brown shirt; striped with black. She had on grey skinny jeans ( x] sxc), and black converse. She had on black eyeliner ( ok ok; getting to the point D;). Brett's mind was foggy with all her thoughts of her work she wanted to do; it took her moment to catch up with a faint shriek she heard. Brett swung her head to the direction of the horrible sound, and saw someone she's never seen before; scrawled across the wet grass with blood dripping out from her arm. "What the f--. Before she could even think to finish her though she caught a glimpse something swaying away from the scene; snow white. Brett ran to the girl's side, and pulled something out of her pocket; she wiped it against the girl's arm; stopping the blood for the mean time. "Are you ok?" Brett asked in a dazed voice; confused.

Delia heard a faint voice.. a voice she had never heard before. She opened her eyes, they fluttered a bit. The figure was a bit blurry until Delia's eyes focused on a figure. "Wh-who are you?"
no answer, maybe Delia wasn't actually speaking, but just thinking. She reached for this girls arm. A striking pain surfaced in her left arm. The dog, now she remembered! She had been bitten by the wretched dog! "He-help me.." the girl seemed to hear Delia and said something.. it sounded as if she said "Hold on! I'll call 911" the girl got up and ran across the grass..

Brett ran as fast as she could to the nearest phone. She rummaged through her pockets for extra change. Finally after a tense 4 seconds she got out 50 cents, and dialed the number. "Hello 911?" Brett studdered. Now it would only be a matter of minutes until the Ambulance came. Brett ran back to the girl's side, and asked "What happened to you?" Brett managed. Brett traced her hand against the cut while looking carefully at the girl's features. "Who are you?"

"I-im Delia Marlow, Im new, its my first day.. I've lived here all summer, moving in and stuff..ive learned about the neighborhood and that all dogs are trusted.. and this one i dont know.. it just bit me and i blacked out.. is the ambulance coming?" Delia heard
sirens. Thank god she thought. In a matter of seconds Delia was up on a strecher heading for the ambulance, then to the hospital.. "Let her come with.." Delia was loosing so much blood,
the EMT's didnt think that she would make it..

Brett asked if her, and Delia can be alone for a few minutes. Brett stared at Delia for a long moment in silence; Delia didn't know what was going on. Brett murmured something under her breath 'a spell'; everything was still for a second that seemed like hours. The blood stopped dripping from Delia's arm. Color came back to her cheeks. Her hair, and eyes seemed full of color. Brett was shocked; her spell worked. She grinned proudly, and whispered "Your going to be just fine."

Delia frantically backed up.. "how did you..What the heck is going on?" Delia had a frightened look in her eyes. Brett looked stunned
too.. as if she had never done that before. The EMT's Shrugged and asked if Delia was ok. She answered she was fine. The EMT's left. Delia noticed more students were arriving. She rushed to get her books from where she had dropped them earlier. She took a quick glance back, then headed into the doors of Powell University.

Brett widened her eyes. Delia is clearly new to the school; as if she were lying. She must not know about the mages here like Hina, and Anna. Brett followed after Delia; she needed to know more about her; Brett wanted to be her friend. Brett wanted to know if she was alright.

Delia stopped by her dorm room, She was to be rooming with some girls whos names were Annabella, Alexandra, and Brett.
She wondered when she would get to meet these girls. Delia was excited. She had all of her luggage on a little trolly cart, she opened the door with her key. Delia noticed that there was an open bed near the window with a two dressers and a closet next to it. Perfect Delia thought. She headed toward the bed when she heard a familiar voice.. "Hey, I wanted to see if you were alright.." it was that girl who magically saved Delia.

Brett smiled, and kept a cool; chill charade going on. She had requested a new girl to be in the dorm room, and finding her today .. in a strange way she knew she would end up here. "Are you feeling well?" Brett had a smug grin on her face acting like nothing happened. She leaned towards Delia, and the look of her shocked face was enough to know that Delia knew more then the average person should.
